Worshiping Artist

Artist. One who practices art. Whatever art. Music, painting, sculpturing, dance, cooking, performance or whatever things that affect the senses and emotion in many ways. Listening to music sometimes would make you feel good. Gloom turns into bliss. Mad into calm. Art is powerful.

I don’t intend to babble a lot on arts but I have something to share about artists. It’s nothing actually but suddenly I feel it is important to share at least with a few of people. A little is just fine.

Are the artists gods? Then what sense of worshiping I’m ‘menggelabah’ on? I don’t know where to start but I’ll try. Let me get this short and sharp.

Newspapers, tabloid, gossip, and such things would always cover about artist. Not on the arts but on to personal. Way too personal they dug till no privacy is obtained. What they eat, what they wear, who they meet, who were they before, and whatever.

I’m not into that just that is the reason why the arts are so suck nowadays. When you talk about artists the thing would come out first is not the ART.

The art is molested. Contaminated. Impure.

Everyday even every second the privacy of an artist is molested.  Lucky them only the singers and actors are in the wide coverage. And bullshit is the thing.

To stop this, we can just start within ourselves. Stop waiting for the new gossip and such and let art do its job. Is it damn hard to move on? Stop buying tabloid. Stop visiting bullshit gossip web. Stop knowing artist for their PERSONALity.

Art is everything on being an artist then you can’t call yourself an artist if you’re not practicing any art.

I don’t give a damn on any controversial committed by an artist as long as it does not affect a tiny wound on the art. Let them being a drug addict, child molester, terrorist,  a ‘Jew’, but as long as they had good art then it wasn’t my problem.

What do you get when you know about the shit the artist had done? An absolute nothing!

The artist is just being used. That was so pathetic and not so artsy. Capitalism behind? Perhaps.
